• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

...thanks Pierre,NOT!

I have a 04 husky c125 that needed a kick starter. Couldn't find one anywhere. Calls that were answered were a mix of "on back order" and "discontinued". Finally found a site that said 2 in stock so ordered right away. 5 minutes later thought I was getting a confirmation of purchase but was sent a notice of product on back order. I almost lost it. It was late so next day waited till 9 to call and let em know how I felt but a minute before I dialed I got a tracking number and it was here in 2 days. Nice surprise. But now I'm going on over 6 weeks for a beta part, that said ships in 3-5 days, and no return calls or emails. Go figure

That's sad! I would give Beta a shout on their FB page or something.
They have sold heaps of bikes recently due to happy customers and feedback and I think they don't want to soil that reputation by importers or dealers giving you grief.
Here in Australia Beta has set up a website to order the parts as the dealer network is not as big (yet).
Most stuff shows up either at your doorstep or at the local dealer in within a few days. Seems they are well organised and let you know when it's backorder too.

Oh yea. I don't think it's beta. I've been reading reviews from other customers about poor service from these guys. Dealer I got my beta from puts an order in once a week and always really quick turn around. I think only back ordered items are full plastic kits, individual pieces are readily available
