I'm curious if anyone using the vagcom cable has been able to adjust CO.
No one here using the vagcom cable that has been able to adjust co settings?
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

You absolutely need to add fuel for high rpm/high load situations. The ways to do it are well covered here. Enjoy the new bike!
.
Raaron, I just made a cable using Vag-Com and it worker well. Here is a list of parts I used...
With the Ibeat, can you configure the cooling fans? Because they are constantly on at the moment...
The bike is also hard to start and keep it running, might be the fuel setting?
I'm doubting about getting the Ibeat or just the JDtuner...
Sounds like you have a bad coolant temp sensor.
.
I should have sold you my JD Tuner, I haven't used it for years. Just running with Ibeat changes.

Connected my DIY iBeat cable with the WV KKL cable today. Followed the guide a couple pages back. I did not have a 32bit pc, so i downloaded VMware-player and "found" an WinXP 32 bit VMware image.
Bike is secondhand, SM610 2006 EFI, 10 500 miles - bought before winter and snow.
First up i calibrated my TPS, which help on the idle. Read a couple of stats, " Operating time 214 hours", fault: "O2 Heater open circuit". Cleared codes and no new appeared. I have issues with backfiring at low RPM, and stats were [ 109 100 100]. Edited them to [102 104 104] and idle lowered, but still some backfire.
I got concerned about the water temperature - 120*C/248F. Bike was idling for about 10 minutes. Quite high, but i have deleted the fan. Is this normal or a sign of waterpump failure/air in cooling system?
We do not know if the EFI tuner will fit your 2006 SM610.
This is a model that has not been evaluated, sorry.
