• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TM Racing

I rode a TM 530. it was the single fastest bike I have ever ridden but surprisingly EZ to ride for me. Like a 570 Berg, fast but controllable. Was a steel framed version like this...

the 2013 TM Racing Factory MXGP Team (former official Husqvarna MX team) Team Ricci Racing. They have s uper nice photo gallery.

interesting on the hate list at MXA was the extra/more than other brands number of screws for the rear sprocket at 9, the factory race bike MX125 leaves off 3, less rotating mass and you even have 3 lightening holes in the hub and sprocket---that was easy!!

No they certainly have those brackets just not to head but to the base of the cylinder.
Look closely and you'll see!

Folks, I figured I would chime in, I have an 09 TM 144EN that I sent out to Eric Gorr to bore and port. The bike as a 144 is different from the standard 144 and is stroked at 58.2 mm (as opposed to standard 125 which is 54.5mm). Eric Gorr bored piston to 58mm and installed his wiseco piston. Bike is night and day with this mod. In addition I just built a second one from a 125 TM 125 EN. A lot more work due to the increased stroke mods which requir both crank and case mods. Waiting on the motor to be sent back and should be ready to go by next weekend. The TM 144 is a great bike but the 155 is much better. Its a good combination of power to climb hills without the clutch fanning. More importantly the motor won't wear you out in a long Hare Scramble

I take it the hip healed up well Ray? Btw I think you just convinced me to upgrade to a new framed 144!

Adam,
Having the hip replaced fixed all the pain I have been dealing with for years, have a new lease on riding. Good luck with the 144 as I mentioned the Eric Gorr hop up really made a difference for myself.

Have sold my GasGas EC 250e & just bought a 2013 TM 144 EN, looking forward to the upcoming years racing, might be more manageable to an ageing slow poke like me, ha ha!! Really can't wait on the weather & my back to improve to see how she handles.
