What is my bike worth?
It has come to my attention after reading other posts on this forum site that our bikes have seriously begun depreciating in value. I, like others of you out there, want to know why my bike is worth. Now I realize that I am not going to get a standard number such as $5,499. That's something your going to hear from a dealer, not somebody in this site. However, I am simply wanting a round about answer. Since KTM's purchase of the husky brand their has been a lot more talk about the cost of buying a new husky (MY 2013) has plummeting. This in turn lowered the amount of money our bikes are worth. But at the same time something is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. Most of the people on this site, or even visiting this site like husky's, and as such are also going to be the individuals that are going to be willing to pay the most money for a husky (new model or old model). Just because KBB may say one of our bikes is only worth $2,500 doesn't mean that's all somebody may be willing to pay for it. So I ask you, what do you feel our bikes are worth? Mine in this case being a '12 txc310. (BTW my bike is not for sale at this point. After asking this question (albeit in much less detail) on my bike thread, I had several messages coming to me asking if I would sell my bike, or if I am selling my bike. the answer is no. However, I am curious to know it's worth)
