• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Villopoto our for Motorcross season!!

Wow, out there giving the fans a show when he already had the SX title wrapped and now this.....
I was really looking forward to a Dungey-Villopoto repeat battle at Washougal this summer. Time for someone to step up.

yep ... toox2 freggin'x2 badx2 ... They said it was his foot afterwards ... I swear ... my foot does not look or act like my knee ...

This will tighten up the racing though ... RD5 has to be the favorite now I'd guess ...

definately will tighten things up, roczen has looks pretty good the last few weeks so maybe hell put up a fight for the points along witha cpl outhers

These guys are no different than us ... They know who they can and can't beat ... Everyone just moved up the totem pole at least 1 notch and the championship is wide open ...

Someone might step up ... Maybe Roczen on a 350? Maybe AS29? RD5 will be OK with me if he wins it again ... Maybe the #33 guy, Grant? He has had bad luck his entire career and has done OK here lately ...

Isn't now the perfect time to get a Husky rider on a TC449 in the mix? Things are everywhere and nobody knows what's going to happen, might as well throw in another curve ball in the game!

Brilliant! But ya still gotta have a rider... Best to make it a short ideal :) ... 1/2 the season or so might be good enough ...

For sure, half season is better than no season. I have a TC449 and need somebody to show me that my bike is competitive in the big leagues. I read great reviews on the 2012 250 also, now let's see them in action. Even on the Canadian side, I have not heard of anyone running a Husky in the pros yet in the MX classes!!

i thought i read something about husky talkin to hart/huntington but it never went through. they are gettin closer to breakin in i hope
