• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Welcome to the forum! Introduce yourself here!

Greetings from Ireland

Just got myself an old 1994 TC610, riding it is a great way to clear the cobwebs in the morning.
She drives well other than that the coolant is leaking all the time from the overflow tube on the rad cap.
Any charactaristic flaws with this model and year?

Hi all, im Alex new to the forum, live in the manawatu (north island New Zealand).
I ride a CR125 that was converted to WR spec for me as the N Z didnt have any WR's at the time. Stunning bike wont be parting with it anytime soon.

Have been reviewing forum for awhile and finally decided to join in the fun. Lots of good information here that I have used to help dial in my WR125.

Hey fellow Husqvarmints,
Muddy Guy from Manitoba Canada here. No dealer for 1000's of kms up here. This forum is fantastic. Scott at RossRocher answers questions for me, but I get lots answered here too. I'm coming off a BMW R1100GS and man my 08 Te 450 is the dirt bike I've always needed. I hope to post thoughts on riding, seat comfort, riding apparel, and beer.

Hello

My name is Jonas. I am convinced the cr125 husky from 2001 on is the best motorcycle for the money. My son is convinced my 2004 wr250 is 2 wheel drive. My current bike is 2009 ktm300. Also parting out 2007 tc450 with electric start upgrade. Thank you:cheers: 317-440-9665

Hello!

I am Oksana and I just got my first Husky yesterday. I am in love! :notworthy: I got a gray SM610. And I got pulled over already. No, not for doing a wheelie past a stop sign. No, not for going 70 in a 25 zone. But I *never* got pulled over riding a bike before. (Do I sound like I came to an AA meeting?). Who said money can't buy love? That person is a tool.

His big (and now slightly neglected) sister is a '08 Daytona...

Cheers!
