• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Welcome to the forum! Introduce yourself here!

Hello from Belgium,
After more than 40 years of motorcycling, most of them with 4 stroke single cylinder, last April I bought a Husqvarna TR650.
The bike runs well, I have done some refreshing works, new tires (Metzeler Enduro 3 as OEM) and Brisk spark plugs.
I’m now waiting for taking back the bike from the current Husqvarna dealer (he is in the KTM network and never seen a Terra) after ECU’s updating.

Hello bikers, yessss finally got my account accepted. ty mods.
in the hope of being able to contribute, I am happy to be part of this great family.

Hi from Spain.
First apologize for my English, it's not very good.
Recently (August) I bought a Husqvarna Terra TR650 from 2014.
It's my second bike, the previous one a Piaggio MP3 400. (10 years).
I am very happy with the bike, every time I accelerate a smile is drawn on my face. Although today I have a little disappointment, but this topic I leave for another post.

See you.

Hi. I've had an account on Cafe Husky for while. I gather you may have been having problems, not sure really what they were? Glad you've worked it out.
As an unverified user I was stuck in ABSOLUTE LIMBO for about a year. Unable to post, unable to contact admin or do anything. Can you do something about that? The registration process was one of the toughest for registering to a forum I've ever seen, and still left me at the mercy of a manual verification system that never got checked.

Welcome aboard! The Cafe was attacked by spammers a few years back so the screws have been very tight since then. We have a handful of admins that do what they can to keep this place up and running. If you fancy Husqagivabeemer era bikes, you've come to the right place. If you find this site useful, please consider becoming a contributing member so it can stay here.

Hello from Hippyville (Eugene, OR). I recently traded in my BMW 1150GS for a new 701, so now I have both new and old (1978 OR390 and 2018 701E)

Hello from Maryland, just picked up a '12 TXC310 the other day. This is my first Husky, I've been riding a KTM 380EXC for the last couple of years. Looking forward to getting to know the bike and this community better!
