• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where Do You Live?

Cause when something bad happens, there are always lingering doubts who may have done it - and why.

It could be as simple as a prank, or something more serious.

One of the things my office occasionally does (I work for a law-enforcement agency) is chase down the real identities of people on internet forums. It's usually very easy to do and not posting your location will not make much difference.

I live in a small town outside boise, idaho. Unfortunately there is no riding here, so we travel to oregon and washington and california to ride. I recommend everyone visit those places.

Yucaipa CA. Just living the dream here in the IE!!
or something close to it, well close to some nice riding at least

I'd like to think it does make a (slight) difference. :)

Good thing they don't hold the ISDE Qualifier there! Yeah ,that's it .........no good riding in the booming metropolis of Colton,Oregun either:D

I live in a small old goldrush town from the mid 1800's in the Sierra Nevada foothills called Columbia. The riding is a some really good, however I prefer to ride on the Ca/Nv border once the pass opens.

Utica, Illinois. The middle of nowhere,USA. I like it that way so I can crack the gas and the neighbors can't complain. Utica is about 45mins west of the Southwest Chicago Suburbs. I have two riding parks close to me (Fox Valley Offroad and Cliff's Insane Terrain). Alot of riders come out of Chicago to practice and trail ride.

Knoxville, TN, Where I-40 and I-75 cross. We have several riding areas that our club,Volunteer Riders have built single track. Most every one rides KTM's, but I have switched to Husqvarna, the heckling has now died down, and I am now hearing "can I try that out?"!
GP

Louisville, Kentucky. about 8 miles from Main street. I can ride out from my garage to about 64 miles of trail if I want to ride it backwards also. Ha!!!

Canton Georgia (30 miles North of Atlanta). Riding just outside my back door in the foot hills of the Smokey's. Just sold off my KTM 200 and bought an 2008 WR250. Perfect fit for me. Heckling buddies all want to ride it !
