Lets see this summer are my rev meter workingMy 2012 TE 449 speedo does the same thing. ODO works, but trip rests and hour doesn't even work. Trail tech may be in my future.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Thanks John for the input. This one works it just resets. The hour meter doesn't work and I think that is normal because it is not in race mode. I don't have my bike here but I think it says map II.CD1... The trip meter, just after the clock, should not reset until you reset it. I reset mine every time I refuel. Maybe the rep is referring to the second odometer which shows after the hour meter. Maybe both become active when a race map is activated. On my bike neither of those items function as stock.
Thanks for the tip. I bet that is my problem too.My trip meter would reset occasionally. I learned that it would reset whenever the starter would stall. That caused the battery voltage to go low. I fixed mine by changing to a Shorai battery and upgrading the battery cables and starter cable to 8 gage wire.
As far as I know, the instruments have been less than ideal for a long time now. At least my 2006 TE250's instruments seem less than bullet proof, and I do cover them when washing the bike. The instruments seem like an after thought, put instruments on a offroad bike to meet local requirements for roads, which personally I am actually glad of, so the cost is kept lower.yes here same problem speedo misted up !!! crap quality.. have to cover new speedo up when i wash the bike!!! Helllllo wots that all about!!!
yup mine was, 5 min job! not sure on the 4Ts but i reckon itd be a pretty safe bet its the same oem speedo/plug/pick up as they run the same front disc rotorTe 450 2010
