O-K, I just have to post a couple more pictures. In the picture in my first post, Stella was still very skinny and her coat was thin. She was neglected pretty bad before being rescued. Here is a curent picture of Rufus and Stella. You can see how Stella's coat and weight is better than the first picture. She is a happy dog now. Before, she would cower when you'd attempt to pet her. Now she likes the attention.
My wife loves to dress up our animals for the holidays. They don't always look like they enjoy being decorated. But, they put up with it. With a couple of the pictures, I put together a Christmas card cartoon of Rufus from a few years ago. -------- Sometimes it takes a little bit of "sweet" motivation to get Rufus to participate. I thought it was pretty funny. Mark
Just another typical evening in Florida, I did get permission to post. I may be old but I'm not stupid, lol...........
You got it right, her theeths are supersharp and itchy. This poor guy bleeds every day because of her.
Here are two our our three rescues. Norton and Tator in the back of the RV at a track day. Here is Molly. The 3rd and most recent rescue.... Oh, and 3 horses....
This is my grandson Bryce with his limousin heifer, they got 1st in class & Reserve champion @ the 2013 MU Block & Bridle show..
The sacks of bones they call cattle here would get you locked up for animal abuse in Texas... I won't eat local beef so I have to drive three hours to a city where I can get Aussie or New Zealand beef (and sometimes splurge on a Wagyu ribeye or two).
Belle and Teeny on a stroll through the wilds of Temecula Wine Country. I have their leashes attached to a carabiner so they can't spreadout but can run around all the same. Belle will take off, but Teeny knows enough to lay down when I shout so he becomes an anchor.
