Here's a kick in the ass that will piss off any dog lover. The little brown dog in the picture was shot twice with a large caliber gun and killed, then taken and either thrown or placed in my neighbor's back yard. This little dog was a friend to anyone and made his rounds to visit many elderly people in our neighborhood, they would give him treats and he would play with their grandkids. He had a wandering spirit and was not happy unless he was on the move. I can't imagine what a 8 pound house dog could have done to deserve his fate.
ya brutis is the walking sasage..samson is just about 2 he is a great dane we rescued ,he was looking pretty sad when we got him, he was around 100lbs. with a nice vet bill (or two )later, he is now around 160 lbs, hes 34 inches at the front shoulders (in the picture he is around 130 lbs).hes a hole lot of love, tuff on a yard but worth it...
Sorry to hear that lankydoug I don't really believe in much, but fuck do I want to prey to something so that there will be a hell for people who do stuff like that
He's not mine per say, but You could say he is my new little buddy... Met him trailside in Moab, and he was far from scared... I spotted him running (very quickly since it was really hot that day) while we were chatting trailside, and he just stopped, and looked us all over, and took in the views like we were.
Here is a video of my Jack Russel Terrier. View: https://vimeo.com/42007696 Sorry about the poor quality of this video, i used a Sony Cybershot cam on this.
I miss her so much. Atomic Zelda was the best dog that i have ever met, she was so kind and loving against everyone that she did meet. R.I.P Atomic Zelda. Bygone but not forgotten.
Justin the motorcycle cat He's too big for the helmet now and has moved on to bigger and better things.
Those greys are great talkers and even better biters! I used to have a Timneh, I still have scars (but he was a basket case when I got him). Conures are some of the most beautiful birds IMO but man are they loud!
Here's my two: Rufus and Stella. They are both Akitas. Both rescues. They are both around 10 years old. We've had Rufus for abut 2 1/2 years and Stella for almost a year. They are both gentle and quiet and good with our cat. Both were probably a day or so away from being euthanized before being rescued by wonderful people that dedicate their lives to running rescue groups that help animals like these. If there is a particular breed of dog you are interested in, there is most likely a rescue group dedicated to that breed.
