As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Well with the time allotted on this transaction don't you think maybe they are working on something completely dfifferent for the 2015? I would think it's nearly impossible to redesign a bike in a couple of months, and maybe they just retagged Bergs so they can have something going for '14?
here you go, Motards... i threw a Scalvini pipe on for you while i was at it

What about the sweet red 48mm Zokes?
Can't this one post remain clean and informational about the new bikes?? I mean, hasn't it been like 6-9 months since the sale happened? Surely that's enough time to get all the whining and butthurt over with? Now, if one of you is riding a 1985 TX510 and wants to complain about Husky not being Husky then maybe you have something. I'll spare you my feelings on the good/bad otherwise because the deal is done, over with. And quite frankly the whole downer angle is just plain BORING at this point because it's all been said and certainly is a horse that doesn't need to be dragged dead into every freaking thread.
Don't freaking buy one.
Stop being a downer Marc geeez
hey is a forum full of opinions, big changes have happened to our brand so yes, this will be the norm in discussions. I'm actually surprised more people are not lashing out quite frankly. I actually feel there has been good discussion and points and counterpoints. Been interesting to see it unfold from where I sit.
You forgot to include the Swedish era bikes!!!lol yeah it's all good! It's just that there are already several threads full of the same sob stories and it gets B O R I N G!!
Thread title " 2014 Husqvarna line"
NOT thread title " My inner feelings on why Italian Huskies are better than German huskies are better than Austrian Huskies "
I feel better now, Thanks!!
Carry on!
