• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Ahh great, there goes a kidney. Dangit!

Well other than you can buy another color of that same bike for years now...
Oh I couldn't care less. I already have a full Supermoto plan for a 165 and 449. I can pick the up used and do the conversion for less than a 2014 450 too :). Oh and class rules at Colorado SM is 175 2 stroke vs 250 4 stroke :)

Yeh im cryin in my beer over my 07 610SM, 07 SM510R, and 13 TE449"SM". I miss them all. Waaaa

There are only 2 bikes I love in the new lineup. The 85 simply because they never imported the 65cc 449 clone and the te300 because I've watched to many Graham Jarvis videos lol. I feel bad saying it but if I got a 300 it would be the 14 Husaberg. Simply put, I think it looks better and it's cool because it's the last year of that bike regardless of if it's a clone.

Like you say though, there aren't any bad bikes anymore but there are now less options. I really would snatch up each model but have a hard enough time getting one lol

The 165 is the only non estart I would consider because apparently it's really easy. If the pain in my back shot down my left leg instead of the right I'd take a wr300 over the new TE. I'm just excited because I truly believe that Husqvarna will be its own again soon.

Stop being a downer Marc geeez :D

hey is a forum full of opinions, big changes have happened to our brand so yes, this will be the norm in discussions. I'm actually surprised more people are not lashing out quite frankly. I actually feel there has been good discussion and points and counterpoints. Been interesting to see it unfold from where I sit.

Don't drag me into this! :oldman:

I must confess....I thought about buying a 2014 KTM 250 SXF two weeks ago. I was at a LARGE multi brand dealership with a friend that was picking up a new Polaris Ranger. I was bike looking and the light weight and very low OTD price on the KTM almost had me reaching for my check book. Another confession...if it had been this new Huskaberg I probably would have gotten it . It's been a few days now and the check book twitch is almost gone and I'm thinking Sherco for now and just see how the new Huskys pan out. Hey don't jump on me to bad my oldest grandson (14 years) is getting my WB165 and I'm getting jumpy!
