• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

GS-911 service tool

Talking to the service rep at Wagner Motorsports asking about getting in there to have a MOSS to discover what the dash wrench is about, about that time the KTM/Husqvarna rep walks in so the question was put to him, his reply was soon very soon something was in the works by KTM/Husky

That would be good if you had a dealer that was worth a damn. Mine unfortunately cannot be trusted to look after a push bike. Would love to find someone with a gs-911 here in Qld, Australia so we can shut out service indicators off after performing an ACTUAL service ourselves... unlike what happens when you leave it at the stealership. They just wipe it off and give you the bike back... no oil change, nothing. "That'll be $350 please". A**holes.

Same story here, the so called dealers are really only sellers.
They are full of sh*t when it comes to actual Dealer work, for example they are still pretending to carry out full MOSS updates on Huskys and charging the same for them, even though we all know the MOSS is no longer connected to the Fatherland. Reset and Update are different things.
A friends Strada suffered a total Battery failure after two months, the same stealers claimed the warranty on the battery was 7 days and only backed down when he called in the Trading Standards Office.

Trying to download now, first 90pages are same as User manual, hopefully if able to download all will be good
Thank you

I will get it added to the index AzOzRider. Thanks. It may be a few days, I just got back from a family wedding and I am playing catch up.

Hexcode have released updated GS911 firmware and also a new public beta of the PC software, both have support for the Terra/Nuda

Yesterday I tested both versions in a Terra, theree are still some additional maintenance functions come over the next few months but all went well and I am satisfied it is worth using.

Hexcode are in the process of doing some web updates and announcements but agreed I could let you all know now

Links to their web site with the Terra, Strada and Nuda and NudaR suppport are below

Thanks to Dave for organising Phil, Keith and Luke who let me drop over and interupt their days in doing the tests
