So since most of my projects are in other hands
3d printing, polisher, boreing cylinders
I started back on the chopper.
So I built a Chopper Many years ago, an Amen Savior Frame with a Used 77 KZ1000 Motor. P&P Girder Front End, with Satellite Wheels and A Diamond Tank.
About 4 years ago I slid out and the carb set got knocked off and the fuel lit off and the bike burned to death. I did not get hurt.
So I have jerked around with it since. Blasted the frame and got the Wheels and Girder Re Chromed. Picked Up a Decent Seat and cleaned and painted the Tank and frame with a rattle can, but I'm Digging the Color ahah and slapped some Husqvarna Stickers on it! Hahahaha.
I bought a toolbox and welded the bike to it for ease of movement and storage of parts.
I bought a Turbo for it and got a set of old racing pipes that came over the engine with a 2 stage boost release valve.
Today I got back to it since the Boat motor has parts out for polishing and the Husqvarna has the cases at the 3d Printer. I could work on the control panel for the Lister but I want to get this thing running BEFORE the Spring.
No front brake and a KZ Drum out back. 1 Cable to the carbs and No Switches or Gauges Just a Key.
The bike Smoked a bit when running and would backfire sometimes too often.
The Straight Pipes sounded like a Kamikaze coming in Hot at 65MPH!!
Today I pulled the cams and head and found it has been burning oil for a while. Found the #1&4 pistons kinda loose in there holes and the holes look like the Motor has been Swimming.
So She's gonna need some Parts!
Gasket Kit
Piston Kit
Valves
New Guides
Valve Seals
Cylinder bore
I haven't pulled the cylinders yet and hope for the best.
3 of the exhaust Stud holes are damaged and need welding.
Plus a couple of fins to repair to make the head whole.
I only Want to do the Top End because the Bottom seemed to Shift Fine and probably Just needs A clutch Kit and oil pump Service.
So Here's some Pics.
