  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Got to try out my race head and rekluse today for the first time.... works awesome, didn't have to change any jetting. Rekluse was flawless. This beast climbs like no tomorrow. We we're lucky, the weather is fantastic for January in Alberta. Everything was going good until we got kicked off the private land which my buddy said and I quote "no worries I know the owners" Well he did know the owners they just don't want him there. It was fun well it lasted, about an hours worth of riding.. Great day with my son. Don't forget to watch Anaheim 1! IMG_3372.JPGIMG_2142.JPGIMG_2137.JPGIMG_2139.JPG

This is a current pic of my first Husky. Getting it cleaned up for my son's 15th birthday in a couple weeks. and some blue/yellow gear. It will be his second husky as he had a 50. He'll be coming off a KTM 85.

hay cole nice bike looks a lot like my cagiva is it a wrk what are the forks off she looks pritty tidy

Yep, stock 88 WRK 125. Stock WP conventional forks too. I've added a Keihin PJ carb that I had laying around. Fits right up. The dellorto is just finicky. As soon as the correct base gasket arrives from Halls, it'll have a fresh ring in it and see where I have to go for jetting. The Keihin was jetted perfectly for my 93 WXE 360. Piston, Rod, Barrel, etc is in good shape.
