It's like the forest was calling me..... Lol.
Your poor husky was just looking for its lost butterfly

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Just fitted the 'Special Parts,' super motard sticker kit to a new OEM front guard & UFO white side panels.
I'm loving the new look already & I'm still waiting on the 2 piece rear guard

My 2004. Bought about 2 months ago. Fantastic condition. Believe it or not, still has original tyres on! I was a staunch Honda supporter, but I love this bike!!
Fitted new Grips and hand guards. New tyres in garage, just need to fit them. Bike is licenced and street legal. I have all the street legal bits as well. At some stage I also want to upgrade springs as I am 6foot4 and 127kgs/280pounds. Needed a smaller CC bike as I haven't ridden off road in 4 years and am still nursing two busted and weak legs from a road bike accident. This "little" bike has surprising power at the coast where we live. Couldn't have made a better choice! As they also quite scarce here in South Africa and its such a good looking bike, it gets plenty approving (and sometimes confused...)looks when I go riding. View attachment 41644
I don't do much tar at all. What tyres do you run? Ive just taken off a AC10 good for the road and poo in the bush but now gone back to a MX51 and yeah that rips up the mud but not road legal.
Also fitted the zipty oil filter cover ,very well made a looks good and those magnets I think they may be pulling the piston to the side. Will see how it goes pulling metal particals from the motor.

I don't enjoy riding when there is poo in the bush.
Lake Sterling near Donner Pass on Highway 80, Sierra Navada, California.
Bike took up too much of the picture. Oh well. Trust me, it was FA NOMINAL!

Pic taken at last weekends 2 day trail ride with over 800 riders. There were many husky's about.

I like the little duck-tail on the 250/310 rear guards.

Pictures of Australia always look nice, but if you believe Discovery Channel and Animal Planet, everything there from the bugs on up will kill you dead. How do you all survive to adulthood?
But loud pipes save lives...
