  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

2003 te 610e

I posted this on the 610 section but thought I would post here as well. Short story is this bike used to belong to my dad. He got sick and sold it in 2005. I ran into the guy that bought it from my dad about a month ago and he wanted to know if I wanted to buy it back. Hell yes I did! He didn't want to part with it but he never rode it. Garage kept with only 900 miles on it. Here she is with a fat Renasco seat and the bigger tank. It was ironic that I found him. It's so pretty I am not sure I want to get it dirty. It's not a new bike but it sure is close. As far as wear & tear goes.

:ride:

Hope nobody minds, it ain't off road.
Heres the 09 te450 and the wife & her klx350. She kept complaining when I'd ride by her. Something about being to slow, so I got her the bb kit & fcr pumper & header/can & scotts stab. She gives her bike a kiss everytime after we ride now  I get smooches too :applause:

Early on I lowered her bike b/c she kept flopping over, lately I've been raising it back up little bit ata time an forget to tell her...amazing she hasn't flopped in quite awhile.

My 04 TC 450. Picked it up with 10 hours on a new motor. I acquired it about a month ago. Very little time on it. My brother just picked up a 2006 CR 125 with less than a day on it a couple of weeks ago.

While I'm at it, here is a Husky hybrid. Not a 4T but still cool. It had the power of a four stroke.:)
