• 4 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Italy - About 1989 to 2014
    TE = 4st Enduro & TC = 4st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

I am an 08' 510. Though I am no Italian supermodel, or spring chicken for that matter, I am tough, and I can outrace the wind...hear me thump!

here's my red TXC 250:

Nice bike and that is an 09? On my 08 TXC250, it is the top bike that turns all blue and not the bottom one as yours ... Be honest, do UR feet touch the ground and tell us how do you ride that bike?

Is that a TE Husky there also? Looks like Husky heaven there ...

yes, that is 09 TXC 250. I just tried my TXC with my buddies on full single track and wood (about 120 km). And it's amazing, I like my TXC! It's fast and I enjoy with the handling. I felt that 09 TXC 250 is similar with my 2007 CRF 250R. I owned 07 CRF 250R, 10 KTM 200 XC and 09 KTM 300 XC.

Husqy is still new one to me, but after riding, I love it! And price of my TXC is lower than my all KTMs.

Now almost my buddies ride husqy. They ride TE 250, WR 250, and TE 125.

Sweet ... U sound like a great ambassador for the bikes... Where are you getting the Huskies from? Are they imported there and you buy them locally?

That TXC will do all types of riding... ESP any dirt stuff including tracks ... I put a 14T FS on mine to go with the 50T rear and it works very well for spreading the gears out ...

That is quite a variety of bikes you have there ... I'm getting my 02 CR250 Husky 2T imported here in a few months to take some of the load off the TXC ...

I got the husqy from a local dealer. Now there is dealers of Husqvarna in Indonesia. The dealers are still soft opening, but I bought the TXC after there was test ride event conducted by the dealer. One of the dealer is my friend, so I got promo price!

Husqvarna Indonesia will conduct grand launching in Marc or April, and they will invite Antonie Mio (enduro world champion) in this grand launching! And tgrea one is that the dealer promised to invite me in this grand launching and riding with Antonie Mio!

Well ain't that cool and Meo shows up also ... Do you put Meo in front or back when riding with him? :) .. I'd want him behind that way he could put a cool pass on you and you can see it very well as he passes you ...

You guys do any of the MX track type racing?

No it's for a 250 tc 10' , think its huskys own model if im not wrong..
Works well with the rocks :) .

I have stock gearing now, but i will try to make the bike a little bit calmer for enduro and gear it down a little bit more.

And Yes it's stock handguards from Polisport from a husky dealer.
Decals on them are made from www.Swedek.se

Nice bike! Is the headlight just for enduro look or really function?

Just for function now, will be battery-charged later for the SEC.

Very cool bike but I'd rub nike out ... This must be UR enduro racer only bike?

Im racing about 70% enduro and 30% mx with the bike.

Just change the front number plate and i still have the complete 19' wheel so i just change that and turn on the suspension and it's ready to go!

After my good year with my TE310 - 2009 now comes the new TE310 - 2010.
Next week comes the xtrig triple clamp and the preload adjuster.
I change the protection for the chain about the ktm part is more flexibel in the rocks.

EnduroTourenMadeira, nice bike ...it looks fast just sitting there and how did you find a Husky in Madeira? ... Did you customized that point on the end of the plastic by the radiator or did it get broken and ended up with a zip-ty?

Make sure to send out a pic of the pre-load device and I'm not so sure that orange component can actually help :)...

I make this cut with a cutter, and on the end i make a small hole to protect the plastik dont make the cut bigger. the zip-ty is to hold the plastik on the right place- inside...

RE:

about some questions i make now some pictures.
sorry for my english, i make the translation with a online translator.

Point 1:

it is the screws on the top chord's recommended both at the location shown, and glue both under the tank with screw locking. As seen in the picture too well I have the engine breather which the cylinder head cover original is in the air box folded over, sealed the opening in the air filter box with silicone and placed in the hose end of the chain a little steel wool which will act as a sieve. The chain guard on the pinion as I remove it only to collect mud and stones

Point 2:

I have provided all the spokes with small cable ties to what is currently in New wheels ever occurring to avoid loosening and subsequent loss. Takes your privacy after the first run, the spokes...

IMGP5535.jpg

Point 3:

I prefer it the screws of the brake cylinder and the screw for the brake bolts and the brake lever screw glue because it already happens from time to resolve which this besides, I have secured the brake bolts with wire against a loss.

IMGP5534.jpg

Point 4:

I secure the two locking pins of the brake pads against a pin drop.
Also, the rear spokes sure I stick with cable ties and the screws of the rear brake disc.

IMGP5532.jpg

Point 5:

sometimes me and some friends have some problems with the clutch at higher temperatures and heavy traffic, I mount on any motorcycle on the clutch cable protection tube is slightly larger inside than the lead and secure the whole thing a little further away from the cylinder because I think that by the heat of the cylinder, the liquid heated in the line too much and has increased the pressure point of the clutch has changed.

IMGP5530.jpg

Point 6:

I disassemble the lever decoration (old engine, Te310/2010) and also remove the bracket for the clutch fitting lid. See also somewhat vaguely that I mount a couple Gabelentlüfter instead of the original screw from the front fork to take the air out.

IMGP5529.jpg

Point 7:

very important I find the fuse pins of the front of the bolt for the brake pads, the first real outing Enduro these are mostly gone. well I'm stuck bolts of the caliper and the brake disc with screws fixation.

IMGP5526.jpg

Point 8:

I secure the brake pedal with a conventional Bowden cable from the bike
I also turn the bolt holding the foot pads in order so that I always see if the pin is damaged or worn.

excellent tips senior maderia! i too wire my brake pad clips. i very much look forward to more of your action shots!
