  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

Happy midsummer.

OK so updated some pics but didn't get with new tires. I put on the husky mx graphics, moose hand guards, EE radiator braces, EE skid plate and EE Shark fin, pirelli trials rear tire and pirelli scorpion xc front. In need of a good front caliper guard any info would be great.

Nice bike Terry!!
Need info****************************************!
Is that the stock kickstand? If not, who what where did you get it?
Those seal savers, never seen the full length like that before- who what where?
And the frame protector/guard on the upper portion just below the tank in front of air box, who, what, where?
Thanks for the info!

Hi Ben, Cheers for the compliment

Seal savers= May sound stupid alot of you but they are suppose to be on the bottom end of the forks, I did search for full length but couldnt find any :( I ride alot of stoney green lanes in my area and the others I go out with all have chipped forks! These are simply protecting my forks. Works well for me :)

That being said the sleve still goes over the fork seals!

Frame protector= Is vinyl from ebay! Cheap and when i remove them (replace twice a year) I still have a shinny frame :) I have made a trace guide which ensures I make the same size sticker each time. If I get alot of interest I dont mind scanning them in for you guys.

Graffics= Motostylemx, My Custom design, will be replacing soon...

Stand= Standard

Future changes... A serious visit to 7602 Racing (If they deliver to the UK?) for husky armour/ New graphics

No, the zip tie is holding a connector for the brake light wire, or rear lights? I cant remember. It's pretty thick, It will last 6 months use thats half a days riding once a week. I know my boots rub it and they haven't rubbed through. My friend does the same on his KTM but with the carbon fibre vinyl which also looks pretty cool too, I think its a bit more thicker too. Just be careful with the jet wash
