  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Not much done as it really doesn't need it! It's been a brilliant bike so far, only issue was water temp sender.

Wonderful graphics. Did you design them? Is it possible to order identicals? Thank you.-Robert

Yeah it's my Design.

I got them done by a company called LR Designs. I'm sure they would do you a copy of them, although I designed them so the frame colour continued onto the tank shrouds, so maybe you could change the colour sceme if you wanted.

Well done! Very nice!

As previously mentioned elsewhere I have conspired with Bill's Motorcycles Plus to do a bit of fleet rotation. It is well known that I consider my TXC511 to be the best bike ever made, but I also had a TE250 that was a hoot to ride, too. But BMP had this TXC449 sitting there just begging to be outfitted with dualsport kit. So, the Buell go sold and the TE250 got traded and the dualsport ready TXC449 got strapped on the back of my trusy '91 F150 today.

Hi, Im new to this forum, here are some pics of my bike. I still Have a couple of things I want to do to it but its a work in progress. The bike is an 08 450 te, it has custom 5" tubless rear wheel along with a 160 rear tire and 120 front tire. I installed the front signal lights on the zeta hand guards that way it has a more aggressive look. On the rear it has very small led turn signals as well and brake lights. I use it for both enduro and supermoto so thats why it is not super clean. I also use it to go to work. Hope you guys like it :) View attachment 17847View attachment 17851 View attachment 17849View attachment 17850
