  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

Hi, Im new to this forum, here are some pics of my bike. I still Have a couple of things I want to do to it but its a work in progress. The bike is an 08 450 te, it has custom 5" tubless rear wheel along with a 160 rear tire and 120 front tire. I installed the front signal lights on the zeta hand guards that way it has a more aggressive look. On the rear it has very small led turn signals as well and brake lights. I use it for both enduro and supermoto so thats why it is not super clean. I also use it to go to work. Hope you guys like it :) Husqvarna.jpgPhoto Mar 09, 3 07 11 PM.jpg 20120713_074118.jpg20120713_184334.jpg

OMG, that looks awesome, those wheels are great and nice graphics. I exchange front fender

These Guys are what I do battle with in the AHSCS & AXC (Arkansas) Series. One for tight technical stuff (TXC250i) and the other for more open terrain (TXC511).
I run the old farts class (50+ Super Senior)

3200 miles :)

Kumz, another question, Did your wheels line up exact? like with the spacer for the front. Didnt have to adjust anything?
Asking because my Warp9 rims are about 1-2mm off, which means i had to shim the rear brake out so it fitted in the caliper, and the front i had to change the spacer sleeve over the axle to 2-3mm longer so the wheels didnt move side to side.
I realy want a pair of Alpinas, they look sex.

B3NO-511, Not quite. I'll explain the issues:

Up front, the stock TE axel was 1mm longer than the older axles. The wheel wouldn't move side to side, but the spacer would spin. I put the 21/18 wheels on my WR300...fix was to swap axles with the WR. Spacer was tight and wheel centered between forks.

Out back, the swing arm is about 1.5mm wider than the older bikes. So when mounting my set, instead of "clamping" down the swing arm, I found some 1mm washer shims which solved that. The brakes and sprocket lined up perfectly. Your rear brake moves left to right 2-3mm, shouldn't have to shim the rotor. Sometimes the caliper gets stuck...

Did you go with the Kite or Talon hubs when you ordered the wheels?
