  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

Thanks Jerbear610, what is B.O.C ?, now i prepare for a big event in Malang east java on this week 22-23 sept, i will post some picture soon, wow...511 must be lots of power you got there

so many people said FMF got more power than akra, but when i try my friend 449 with akra it feel like more power it has, the RPM raise so fast when i do full throtle
I use FMF too, wanna have akra someday but it choke me up when i see the price :(
I like the Akro on my TC250, but have FMF on my YZ and love it.
I've heard both regarding the swapping out of Akro for FMF. I've also spoken to the guys over at MotoWorks in Lake Elsinore and they're working on getting into the Husky market. They say they can squeeze out five more HP.
Lastly, BOC was a rock band in the 70's (Blue Oyster Cult). The lead singers name was Buck Dharma.

I just saw your pics ... Cool terrain and bike ...

How's the Arrow Exhaust work?
I can't say enough good things about the Arrow can. It lets the 450 breathe and do its job. It is louder. It is part of the Power up kit from Husky. After a CPU reflash update, the motor runs better than ever. The power delivery is strong through all RPMs. Never coughs, never stalls. Seems to run a little richer. Are you thinking of getting an Arrow Cannister?

I don't see Arrow too often where I Live. I see mostly FMF or Pro Circuit, but on the Husky's its been all Akro.....but I don't too many Husky's either.

Thanks ray_ray it works very good on double track, verry smooth and verry stable in drifting, lil bit dificult on single track, i recommend this bike for a long distance offroad but on extreme terain i recommend 250 or 310

Might of been something else and not just exhaust on your friends bike. Factory team for 449 used FMF bomb headers with 4.1 silencers. ;)
