  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

thanks for the reply mate. i have seen a very similar kit to yours made by brett and i was hoping like hell yours was to so that has made my day. it would be awsum if you could send me the designs. if its any easier my email is cameron.strattan@bigpond.com.

hi all iam from brisbane australia and found out my new tc449 2011 was not quite me so i traded to a brand new 2011 te 250 meo replica and wow what a bike very happy ! sorry for no pics they are coming .this is a great site!

Jd Tuner, FMF Powercore 4, Motozportz dampner, CRG mini mirrors, Seat concepts Seat, Bike master rear blinkers. This is the ultimate set up. Maybe a tag along tank and bags for longer rides? I'm super happy!:love:
 
My 2012 te511 as of a few days ago. Took this over by the Danbury Airport in CT.

Since I got it, I put on an fmf, removed the charcoal canister, remapped it, and got rid of that ugly 02 sensor!

So far I love it! It's still breaking in though, it's got a ways to go!

hey i just put up a photo of mine and saw we have near identical bikes! How do you like your JD tuner? I'm thinking of getting one too since mine is still running a little lean, even after getting it remapped.

I Really like the JD Tuner, It gives you more fuel and mulitple tuning options. There is a thread about the JD Tuner and Powercore 4. You should check it out! Some good Info in there!
