  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Nice air for a big guy! Showing them how it's done. Where is this, can't say that I have seen a lot of indoor MX tracks, outside super X and arena X

Holy crap that is bike pron right there!

Thanks, I was real skeptical about buying these, I had the money for Talon/Excel setu, bt I was liking the Warp 9 setup with rotor/bracket/and sproket. Seems they have made great strides with their fitment and customer service issues. I ordered these direct from Warp 9, as the tax and shipping savings made them cheaper than Motostrano. I got the custom black powedercoated spokes, upgraded floating rotor, and red nipples. Their customer service guy called me and asked some very specific questions about my bike, such hub spacing, fork mm, etc. Seems all Husky wheels are not created equal from the factory as some might think. They went out of their way to make sure they got everything correct the first time. Fit and finsih on the wheels looks top notch, no spacing or fitment issues what so ever. My nomar worked great for mounting as well which is cool, it is pretty much useless on the 18/21 dirt wheels

Yes, Ca. I live
Based on his license plate, I'm guessing California
on Vandenberg AFB, right on the coast just north of Lompoc.VAFB is the third largest AFB in the world. We have over 45 miles of coast line that is mostly uninhabited. There is plenty of roads and trails all over base that are open to registeted vehicles. The base security forces are cool for the most part and as long as you are not violating restricted areas or blazing new trais will let you ride in peace. These pics are on top of tranquillion peak, the highest point on base. It is truely a motorcycle playground
