• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Some guys were getting some impressive air here. Me? I prefer to stay a little closer to earth.

2nd event of the Offroad Ontario XC series in Vet B. Got the holeshot.....almost too easily...moto track was a bit intimidating but held the lead for the entire loop and then held onto 4th for 2 of the 3 laps I rode. Final lap saw 6th place and after getting stuck in bike swallowing ruts on FLATS AND HILLS...decided...meh...I'll get out of this one unscathed and make up points at next event, ANTHILL CLASSIC, scheduled for August 13th. This Husky TX 300 is a force to be reckoned with!!

Third race of Offroad Ontario season and now 4th Overall in points in my Vet B category. This pic taken in the first few corners of a grass field start where I went into the trail 4th off of the line and held 7th for the rest of the race. I've come to realize I need to ride more in the mud and snot to get more comfortable in those kind of conditions. The grass track portions(pictured here) were absolutely MINT! Anthill Classic XC done...Wingham XC next wknd!

2SEP2017 Tecate 100 Rancho Villarreal Tecate Baja California Mexico. Result? IDK, but not very good I think. 6 laps to the fast guys 8 laps, but what the heck @ 78 miles in 95 deg heat for an old guy against kids in the open ironman class
