• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I had it done from Decalmx.com decal Works has been my go to for years. I just sent them the file of the GP logo and they already had the others RynoPower and ZipTy Racing on file. and they planted them all onto a KTM/Husky swing arm graphic.

Round 2 of the VCHSS. 5th place this weekend, should have been 4th but I fell over and lost the spot

Rolled over 450 hours on the little Husky.

Unrelated, but I decided the Husky could use a break after so many hours so I snagged a '17 Beta 250RR yesterday

Here's a couple from the SoCal D37 Sramble in JV this weekend. Gettin in the groove with a 70 OA and another win in sandbagger class. I think they're gonna send me a yellow bar with my bag of sand soon. I smoked the first ammie finisher in Sen Lwt by 4 minutes after 2 loops who started at least 3 rows ahead with 2 riders every 15 second starts.

Yes that's big D and the org plugged all of us together in the 45+ open class, but once the trophy time came out we did split 45+ and 55+ open because they already did all the trophies.
So it was Salas, LR, me 45+ open and LR, me, Lizarraga in 55+ open (Salas is under 50.) Don a few laps down and Danny DNF after getting all hung up into a manzanita bush (with no injury). he was off to Italy for the classic enduro last weekend. grass roots racing at its best with some of the best!! PS both Big D and LR are 60+

I sure am. I figure the faster I get on this one, the better. If I do end up getting a new bike I'll be more prepared to get the most out of it. Honestly thanks to John (Ajaxauto) setting me up with a very well set up turn key race bike I'm just not ready to move on to a new bike...yet.

12MAY2018 AMA D38 Summer GP Cahuilla Creek MX Park on my way to 6th SSEN EX on the number 12M pie plate 2001 YZ125, following 99V on the RM125 getting ready to pass a 450 4 stroke. Funny thing was that I was 1 minute away from wearing the same Fly mesh hot weather gear as the RM125 guy but I went with the Lite Hydrogen gear you see instead. We ran like this for a while then he gapped me near the end of the race.

First race on the Beta this weekend

Race didn't start off great. Was a live engine start which I hate so much. Everybody suddenly becomes a professional motocrosser and it is a shit show :banghead: The ripped off fork guard happened here and rubbed on the wheel the entire race. That side is now polished  Plus it was clicking the entire time like when you put a playing card in your spokes as a kid  I ended up getting back to 10th from dead last (30th). The course was super tight with very few passing zones which made life even harder.
