• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Supercross Time!

KRoc is keeping him honest..... To bad everyone else is fighting for 3.... I see a bunch of factory guys that need outdoor only contracts

Yeah he's lost that 5% though it seems. Hopefully he can get a win or 2 in before he retires. Is he racin the nationals or sx only? Think he signed for another year or 2 of sx-cash in reedy!!!

I think I read his yamaha contract is SX only. [wanna see Reed get back that 5%? ...piss him off and he turns into the fastest guy out there]

I personally lost a lot of respect for RD5. We stayed in the same hotel as him and the KTM team this past weekend in New Jersey. After the race they had a little party down in the lobby where me and a couple friends were hanging out drinking some beers. Soon after Dungey arrived, he flung a bottle cap and was inches away from hitting my buddies girlfriend in the face. Just the fact that he didn't apologize or make some sort of apologetic gesture really upset me.

Shoulda confronted him bout it, politely ask him to refrain from childish behaviour n if he burrs up snot him one. Gun rider or not doesn't mean ya can be a jerk!

I read somewhere he was also taking part to a few races in MXGP ( GB and another one ) and maybe a few US outdoors. I don't know what is the logic there for yamaha...

He's a commodity, world famous and very popular, they want to get their monies worth. Hopefully Yamaha will stay in the game in the US.
