  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I've created a list of things to help get this thread back on track;

1. If you're not winning an argument using logic and facts it is best to attack your opponents credentials and character.

2. If #1 fails challenging them to a fist fight or gun fight can be helpful.

3. Try to get as many people on your side... overwhelming your opponent with shear numbers will often win an otherwise hopeless argument.

4. If you disagree with someone's opinion there is a pretty good chance that they are stupid.

5. Attacking someones race, gender or sexual orientation is a classy move and will impress your colleagues.

6. Nobody talks about fight club
 
Done that at Kennedy Meadows, where you lean your bike in towards the mountain and you're still standing straight up.

ha ha, no, this is more like 4 inch wide trail carved in solid rock cliff faces that if you burp and miss you will never be seen again. Come on up, I'll show you. BTW plan to make it down your way to meet the crew and ride at some point in the not so distant future.

9880sts sorry to here about your bike , and i'm sure it would have hurt. hope all is on your side. Mate if you need a fuel cap ASAP ive got my one I changed for the ZIPTY one , on my way to work in the morning I could drop mine of for you to use to get you out of the sh......it , I could drop it off with the orange carrot rider . that would be friday morning 29/08/14. Let me know if you want via sms 0419388372.

i am good to go this weekend. Mine was not tight completely .. so i am just watching it a bit more care full.

Motosportz has send one on the way from the US.
Just ordered all the Plastics and get the rear fender wrapped.

But thanks for the Offer. Much appreciated and i hope we get to ride together soon.
