• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Can you tell me how can I send you some pictures

If you want to post a picture:
  • One way is to click on 'Manage Attachments' when making a post
  • Another way is to use a picture hosting service such as PhotoBucket.com, the putting the "img" link into a post.
At least I am assuming you want to display pictures. Or you could email to webmaster at cafehusky dot com.

New 610 owner

Hello from San Jose CA.

Just picked up a new 09 610sm after having a DRZ. Look forward to getting some good advice from this forum. I fact I already have just from browsing around. As soon as I get my sliders on and the weather clears up I'm going for a nice break in ride.:ride:

Glad to be aboard

I'm not a Husky owner YET although I've been facinated with Husqvarna for a long time. I'ts almost time to retire my trusty ol xr400 and I think the new 2011 just may fit the bill. I'll be anxiously awaiting more details about this bike in the months to come.

Keep up the good work, great site...

I am buying an 07 TE250 with an Athena 300 kit. I am super excited!

It is an upgrade from my XR250R. I wasn't using it to the best of its abilities but I was tired of some of the fights I was having with it (front end was lazy). I test rode an 04 TE250 and almost bought it but the 07 deal is so good I will not pass it up.

I look forward to getting good info on this forum!

Hi from Australia!

Just recently got a 2009 TXC 450 (new), fantastic bike, only run it in so far, but its been a blast.

Hope I can contribute in some way.

Cheers, Ben.

I've just joined and posted on the new BM / Husky thread, as it may well be the bike that gets me to spend money on a new 4t, whilst I await the arrival of modern DFI etc 2ts.

I have a 1979 390 Husqvarna that was stored in a friends garage for the last twenty years. I just recently found out that he still had it and I brought it home. Although it has some rust spots it is still all in one piece and in pretty good condition. I am not sure what it is worth or if there is a market for it.

Hey folks, been playing over at Adventure Rider for some time now....nice bunch of people. Anyway, with their help and some from here (didn't know this was here), I find myself in the posseesion of a hardly used 2007 TE250. She is great so for but I will need some collective wisdom to get her tuned in to what I do with my bikes. Not a lot of terrain that is still available for use up here and what there is is tough bony mountain stuff. My son and I love it!

Anyway thanks, and Coffee nice job, this site is great!

Husqvarna rocks!!

Hi. My name is Fletch,
Been riding husqvarna's since 1987 (did switch to a gas gas a time or two but NEVER anything ORANGE!) Won vet expert in 2004 in MN, and just decided to get back ito it! Currently have 09 te250 and wr 125 nicknamed Mr. Tiddler. will be looking for info on gearing, pipe info, 144 info,Where the heck I can get a 3 gallon tank (halls says 4 to 6 weeks) and any other info on Mr. Tiddler I can get. This website is awesome! Just like I liked the saints even when they sucked, I stuck with husky when you could barely get a back fender and all the clowns jumped on the orange bandwagon! Thankyou ALL!

Reformed KTM rider. Just bought a 2006 TE610 with 116 miles on the clock.... sat for a while. Put a new battery in today and fired her up... popping an coughing. I've got some sprucing up to do with the carb. Glad to see motosportz on here. His damper saved my hide on my KTM a few years ago.....
