• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi
I´m from Sweden and I´m most into vintage. I got a KTM EXC250F for racing enduro and I got a Husqvarna 390 WR -78 as a project. I´ve been into enduro for about 20 years to & fro and I have had thumpers like Armstrong 500 and an ATK 500, 250:s like Cagiva WMX, Kawasaki KDX and Gas Gas EC but until last saturday I hadn´t owned a Husqvarna! Today I got my second Husqvarna, a 118 cc model 28 -54. I hope to make some contacts in this forum to be able to find spare parts for my 390.

Best regards from Sweden

Welcome to CafeHusky, tm_enduro  I, too, like posting on several other forums. You might notice that this place plays a bit different than most of the other forums. We're a pretty mellow self-policing bunch here and, as such, don't require as many rules as those other places:)

Are you still considering the new TC250?

WoodsChick

If it was available now, I would own one. If the rumor of a 202 lb 250 4T is real, I will be in heaven.

That's a pretty nice stable of machinery you have there, looking forward to seeing some pics.

Completing the collection

In my efforts to get one Husky from the fifties, sixties, seventies & the eighties I bought a 250 WR -82 today. Seemed to be in original condition and I will probably race with it already this summer. Now I can start looking for a bike from the sixties but I think that one will be the trickiest one, they are unusal even here in Sweden. Here´s a picture of the newest purchase!

Great to see the resurgence of Husky and beleive it will go from strength to strength with BMW backing it up.
Great to see people like Scot Harden and Scott Summers in there too.

Thanks to the owner and contributers for this great site.

Hi Folks,

Just rode home on my new-to-me '08 te610. Love it. Wanted to ride it up the stairs, into the kitchen and feed it a ribeye. Now... where can I get it dirty in the extended NY metro area?
Thanks to Coffee & all the great posters here.

It's way past time for me to register at CH!

Hi All,

Well I've been guilty of lurking and not participating for way too long, it's just time for that to end!

Thanks to you Coffee for all of your hard work & efforts here. You've really developed a quality experience for us Husky-junkies

Thanks also to the Moderator(s) for your dedication as well :applause:

I live in Southern California and have been riding non-competitive dirt (as well as a little street) most of my life. I ride as often as a busy family man can. I have to say that, as of this last holiday season, I've had the pleasure of getting my 7-year old twin boys into the sport as well. I'm hoping that motorcycles, and all of the great stuff that goes along with the lifestyle, is something that we can all enjoy for a very long time to come

My '06 TE450 Husky is my first really top-notch ride. I bought this baby slightly used in early '06 and it still brings a big smile to my face every time I see it

So cheers to all of you and I'll try to add some positive input to this forum as well.

Jeff
