Hi ladies and gentlemen
I am asked to introduce myself here, so here it is. I live in sweden, northern parts, work as a salesmanger, have a wife and son, end next child in the owen...
I started my career as a dirtbike rider far to late. I have always been interested in dirtbikes but didnt for various reasons buy one until i was 33, an now i am 40. Since that, it has been my biggest interest. I started my riding on a slow and heavy yamaha ttr 600, i dont know why I bought it?? My next bike was av 2003 KTM 525 MXC, a little better but not ideal for a begginer, big motor lot of power and thight snotty, rocky singel tracks are not ideal. I was afraid most of the time. But determinde to learn to go faster. My next bike was supposed to be a KTM exc 400, but for some reason i let my dealer fool me, so I came home with a 450 instead

. Still far to much power, but I convinced myself that it was right

. In that time I was riding about 150hrs/year so the learning curve was steep. I becam faster and faster, but no pro though. When I look in the rearwiev mirror i can see that the KTM´s didnt fit my style, size and riding.
My next bike made me feel at home, and is the singel thing that has made the most inpact on my riding speed, exept hours in the saddle of course. The bike was the 2008 Husky Te 250. Great bike, controllabel power, ergonomics that fitted me and suspension that no KTM can match ever! I really loved it and had 100 lovely hours until the motor blew up, an exhust valve broke on full trottle att the mx track and made salad of the cylinderhead, piston, cylinder and crankshaft, bad luck

. I was not happy and took it to my dealer in pieces. A few bucks later i returned home with a new and shiny Wr300. My first 2-stroke, new expirience. Its a lovely piece of work, but i needed to adapt and get new skills, like more efficient braking skills...the lack of "motorbraking" in 2-strokes caused me some crashes in the beginning. The god thing is that a smoker forces you to brake, and be more active. I wish that i hade started witha a 2-stroker. 4-strokers is so forgiving and easy, you get lazy and can be pretty fast with lacking tecnuiqe. A 2 stroker forces you to learn more faster. Now i ride with less "rollingtime", gas for longer times and more effective braking. The possible downside is that I need to be fitter because a 300 takes its toll so i have to spend more hours in the gym or running if i want to last for a good 2 hours of competition. That is becoming more and more difficult because the family is groving, the time is limited and so on, but i will not stop riding. And I hope that in a few years i can start coaching my own little husky team
