Yes, I changed the brake perch to Magura ( I´d have broken it by now if I hadn´t) ... and have got a shorter Magura grip that activates the brake light. But still haven´t heard from the British or US ASV people. Am on the point of giving up on the project (`tis really only bling).
sounds awsome(loud but not too loud) and really does open up low to mid range very nicely i would say its transformed the bike new can only weighs 2kg and stock are soooo heavy
That bag....that bag.....facepalm.gif New brake pads fer me. Front brake howl is gone finally. These are much less grabby too. Haven't had a chance yet to try 'em in the dirt.
Now one has quick bleeders can one not turn the fork uppers or covers around so they do not read upside down?
Same front pads I have (bought them to cure the howl, per Hall's recommendation). I still have the OEM pads on the back.
Yes, the ones that came with the bike. They still have life in them and they aren't causing any problems. So, I left them alone.
Messing with the AirBox next and went with these little babies for ease and simplicity http://pitposse.com/fiairboxve.html
Oh the back of the bike. For some reason I was thinking you stuck the oem pads on the backside of the new pads for like extra stopping power or something.
Figured if I bugger it up too bad (drilling 6, i inch holes that is) I can just cut out a shape and add a screen on the back of the Plate and be done
If you get the right size hole saw, measure position and mark where you want them and drill slowly you should not f'up.
I did something in a past life to have HORRIBLE luck with crap like this so if it can get buggered, it will - Hence why I get my mates involved to help otherwise I might never get things to work - They should be here by this weekend and hope to get them in then
