Don't sweat it. Even if it gets buggered up you can always patch cover it for temporary use while a new cover is on order so no downtime. New cover only is only $43 so won't break the bank either. _
str racing....4mm threads....i got 5mm the first time..wrong....i think they are the ones for the KTM..the 5mm come in red so i got those..didnt fit...4mm only came in silver and blue i think...may be orange..
Ordered me a set of these yesterday. Picked up a set of the fork bleeders from them while I was at it. Excellent customer service.
Be sure to shim the rear part of the front fender forward with washers on the two rear mounting bolts on the fender to keep the fender from rubbing on the BPD radiator guards.
Shifter seal under warranty, so not really a "purchase." On a side note, I found out that my SMS with stock gearing will do at least 108 mph, but I was running out of room...
Nice. I hit 94 on my TE with a 14 tooth cs sprocket before I got out of the throttle from being 'escared. That front wheel gets twitchy at that speed...
I like that...been wanting to do the same. Do you have a part number? Curious, because the one I want is the same, but w/out the black and the silver is red. Thanks!
Ordered a Seat Concepts all carbon cover/foam the other day. Now I just need to find a good local upholstery/seat shop...
It's really very simple to do, just order yourself a heavy duty staple gun from Harbor Freight for $24.
Pushbutton fork bleeders: I also bought some of those metal valve stem caps with the valve core removers built in.
