• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Husqvarna line

I say mostly white with some blue for 2014s and I only mean the non-Varese models...ehem..you know, the Husabergs by October. After that I am speculating on speculation haha.
I am retracting my statement. I heard confusing words on bikes coming to dealers soon. Re-hashed old stuff and limited numbers and a new 450 MX bike possibly. Who knows. Time will tell.

After removing 300 random ass stickers that might be a good looking Berg. :)
Yeah that looks like my 4 year old twin girls decorated it with the pile of motorcycle stickers in my kitchen drawer. Other than the shotgun pattern of stickers, thats a gnarly@## bike. I like.

Who cares what it looks like. Each one of those companies got into the magazine and that is worth a lot.
What a add cost these days is crazy, now they get all that exposure on a test bike. Marketing.
Now if it works all those companies get custermers Looks like a 2 wheel nascar

The new bikes are blue. The new shirts, banners, pop-up tents, accessories, etc. are blue. The 450 and 125 were never distributed state side and will be coming soon. They are blue too.

I dont like to base anything on rumor or supposition so I'm just waiting to see what comes out. It's kind of fun to play into the game on this thread and thats cool. It's all in good fun-for me anyway. Some people are taking this quite hard. I'm sure there are plenty of people in the UK driving new Mini Coopers, despite those cars being BMWs.
All I know is that I plan on racing my 12 WR300 another season and then hopefully putting my butt on a late 2014/early 2015 Husky ORRR...KTM. I'm not opposed to that brand; I've owned them before. It will be interesting watching the change take place at my local dealer and seeing the different bikes on podiums.

I would note that I already have blue with white lettering Husqvarna banners, and the reverse...those came from Corona early this year. BMP has a lighted sign, same color theme. Jumping to blue isnt going to be that hard....

I like the idea of blue anyway, since the red shrouds with my ECEA yellow number plate backing color looks like a Team McDonalds ride.

Ok, so they will be Bergs with Husky stickers. The real question is price. Both KTM and Husabergs come with a hefty price tag which is one big reason I went with Husky to begin with. Anybody got any real intel on prices?

yes, bergs with stickers. Price, high. There is no way they are going to sell them for much less if any less than the KTM's

Haha yes that would be nice! I'm 8th in B Vet this year so no chance of that:(.
Kind of a relief tho haha. I'm not an A rider...yet. Maybe I'll never be but I'll keep tryin!
Yeah I hear ya lol. You could always just go with it and put the hamburgular sticker on you're bike or buy white plastics :)

I cant do that haha. I dont want to draw any more attention to myself when floundering around in the woods.
I think I might actually go with a blue and yellow color now. I was thinking mostly orange and white for kind of a laugh with the brand being owned/associated with KTM but I do love a blue/yellow color combo. I always thought the Husabergs looked real sharp.

So that interview a few months back where SP claimed that he wanted Husqvarna to remain competitive in price and performance with the Japanese big 4 was just another load of BS? I mean, I believe in BS but usually have a hard time swallowing the crap that comes from big executives. I can think of at least 3 times the CEO of my employer lied to the whole staff with a straight face in the last 3 years.
