• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Husqvarna line

Just wondering where the Italian MY14 bikes are being put together - are they a real 2014 model or 2013 models badged as 2014 ? They are using up old stock I assume -

I think they call them 110 anniversary bikes not 2014 to avoid this mess. Althoug I do see tham advertised as 2014 models as well. The real 2014 models are blue and bergs with husky sticker and a few changes.

VINS are 2014, even though they are redecorated 110 Anniversary specials. They were good bikes in 2013 and now they are cheaper good bikes.

I already miss these sexy ass bikes...

It was fun.

Every time I see a 449 I can't help but think of how much it deserves to be raced. It really is the coolest looking bike. Even on that stand it looks fast :)
Motosportz, stop talking about it. Now I'm even depressed lol

yes, bergs with stickers. Price, high. There is no way they are going to sell them for much less if any less than the KTM's

Yep... they price them high.... But I've never, ever paid retail when I bought a KTM. The 2009 XC-F 250 I'm riding now I bought brand new in 2012 for $5500.00. The 2010 XCF-W 400 I bought new was 6200.00 out the door. If you shop, you can get a deal. I also have a great relationship with the couple of dealers in this region.
