• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Husqvarna line

So it appears to be a KTM SX (linkage), with berg subframe (non metal / different shape) and a few things slapped on to make it branded husky. About what all the speculation brought us too. Will be interesting.

This bike looks bad ass! Is someone racing it at MXON? If so did he qualify on it?

No the MXGP MX3 class is closed for 2014 it will be the "MX300" or something like that name. The race bikes will all be 300 2 strokes, marketing to get more brands to the gate and for less expensive racing for the MX3 class racer teams. So basically in modern terms we will have an open class 2 stroke world championship...in the world of 300cc instead of 500s.

Will this be next years MX3 class at the Des Nations? If so, who on Team USA will ride a smoker?

for MXoN I dont think they will include the FIM MXGP MX3-0-0 as an option, I think they will keep it MX1 MX2 and "open" as it is now.
The Main classes for MXGP in 2014 are MX1 MX2 with MX 3-0-0 (my name for it) as a side show, kinda like MX3 has been over the last years anyway. Hopefully the new 300 class will bring in more participation from the offroad enduro companies as well for more brands at the gate

Take a berg, paint the frame white, toss the KTM SX linkage on and slap some new stickers on it and wow and all new bike. I'm 99% (and hoping) the production "husky" will not have CF subframe.

So finally it's released -> New HUSKY ----> KTM/BERG with linkage... am i suprised........hmmmmmm NOT !. But anyway looking fine.
