  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Decatting the TE511 Muffler...

So Pro Circuit has a 449/511 slip on? Spark arrest too? I'm not gonna hack apart the stock pipe and still looking for something...OK Google...

$1000, and only the full system...um, ouch! No Sparky, No likey.

Maybe I'll call them just in case they have something that fits.

Aftermarket exhaust is even more impressive.

Like Tinken said . I run a pro circuit and apart from a little more noise the bottom end response is wheel standing power and top end power it just pulls. One of the best mods ive made. and along with the BF removal , race map 3 awesome into berms rap this baby on and up comes that front wheel and just hang on baby.

WOW I like the pro circuit pipe. Please get some pictures on the bike :)

How is the loudness?

It is a little louder ok a fair bit and it lets you know you are on the gas with a bit of a bark but not as bad as a Yoshi system. sorry same bike with full pro circuit heat wrap and exhaust guard.20140621_124226.jpg20140602_135816.jpg

Never mind it is pretty ugly and looks like a tiny round little thing.

The rear muffler is a little shoter than the stock one and much less than half the wieght and lets the bike breath and pop that front end up end with ease , bottom end power is heaps better also she will rev with ease aswell.

Emergency help! Ive got the rivets off the entry side and can't get the pipe and sleeve off. What am I doing wrong?
