• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics Of Your 630!

Daaammm....my SM has only seen urban riding so far....I gotta get my axle sliders and hand guards and get out there!

If Too $hort calls Oakland home I figure it must be nice :D

Hey! Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Ricky Henderson, Danny Glover, MC Hammer and Sonny Barger all called Oakland home, too :oldman:
My father-in-law was in one of Too Short's videos

And yeah, I know this is the extra-special 630 photo thread, but I'm gonna post up a photo of a plain ol' 610 here in Oakland just to sorta stay on topic :D

You forgot to mention Epic Beard Man!

Nice Pic!

Not my video either, I am pretty sure this is a Husqy, but maybe a 250 not the TE630. Amazingly, the guy reported the bike survived with only a broken clutch lever and foot peg.

I can't remember where I saw that. Crazy! I'd need a new pair of underpants after that one.

Is this thread dead? :p

Crashed right after this shot though. Sadly the photographer was too slow to make a pic of the crash too

Not as nice a picture as the last one but this is my beast both apart and all mended. I'm still finishing up on a couple additions, some cool HID Spot lights etc....hoping to have it ready for Death Valley on the 12th!! :D

You coming out with the ADV group to PSR that weekend?

I'll be there...

I considered that ride too, I went Thanksgiving week last year...but this time I'm headed to southern New Mexico for some Monticello Box, Palomas Gap, Chloride Creek, Burma Rd.
And with luck (50-50 chance my buddy from Houston can make it) we'll be in Moab next weekend.
