• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics Of Your 630!

They were an ebay job tbh! not brilliant either, took a bit of modification and the colour doesnt match that well

regarding the sprocket cover, i wear mx boots, and i took it off for easy access for cleaning and chain lube, and looks of course, but mainly for loss of weight! :D

I like the way they cover the whole front of the bar.

surprised to see more te's than sm's!

You coming out with the ADV group to PSR that weekend?

I'll be there...

I'll either be getting there on the 12th or about 3pm on the 13th........couldn't get the days off for the 11-13th.

I decided to post my own ride and see how many people might come out, I think I have 10-12 so far.

Nice ride this afternoon up to North Fork Resv near Salida,CO. Pretty sure the front fork is gonna get a revalve..... Only had one bolt jump off. It was the big bolt that holds the fuel tank in place. Great bike! Fun ride.

Epic photos

In commuter mode. Just added the Zeta handguards and the topcase is a Givi E470. It is a little big, but the main point of it was to provide a solid backrest for my daughter when she rides with me. From some angles it really looks like a nice fit, others like the bike sprung a massive color-matched tumor on its ass...

Hi there, very interested in seeing how you have the Givi plate mounted to the bike. In the picture it looks like a Husky rack and a Givi Mono lock? Did the mounting holes line up or did you have to drill new holes?

Thanks very much,

Alex

The monolock baseplate has a ton of different holes in it. Lots of possibilities for grabbing onto the husky rack, just depends how far forward/backward you want it. No drilling required.

Ah, I see. I just watched a monolock vid and see what you are talking about. It's very different from my current monokey plate.

Thanks for your help,

Alex
