• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics Of Your 630!

Painted my exhaust shields, looks a bit less obnoxious now.
Now I'm more interested in the build project in the background !

2004 Hemi Ram roller, chopped in half, tube frame chassis, 44" Michelin XL milsurp tires, double-triangulated 4-link in the rear. Won't make the best crawler, but it'll be a beast when it's done... I originally wanted a Cummins, but those don't even make it to the junk yard before being grabbed up...

Cute dog, BTW. Boxers make great companions don't they?
Had a friend with a mated pair and they just loved cigar smoke and ashes. If you didn't pay attention they'd come along and grab the end off your cigar. The more expensive the cigar the better they like 'em. :applause:

He's a mess, that's for sure. You can have staring contests with him.

A friend of mine sent a picture of me on my bike, before I actually had the bike... :D Her mom had a Husqvarna just sitting around the house, haha.

Ok -- I give up. How do you have a plated bike with no lights or signals?

I don't see a plate so probably a track only bike. Tracks won't let you run with any lights, glass or plastic installed unless covered over. Basically anything that can easily break or shatter is prohibited. Also many states don't require turn signals either your left arm meets the safety requirement.

Edit: I see the plate now or at least a plate mounting bracket. Can't tell if plate actually there.

Hey guys, I live in the uk and this isnt a TE its an sm model, over here its fully road legal but it is pushing the limits of 'legal' haha. Without lights you can get a daytime only pass, and 'dirt bikes' dont need indicators over here

Any particular reason you removed the countershaft sprocket cover?
Seems like a not-so-good idea to me, unless you wear SM boots 100% of the time...

There's no front sprocket cover on mine. It gets too clogged up when the going gets muddy. I wear MX boots, or I put a velcro strap around my pant leg to keep it out of the chain.

What are those handguards that go the whole length of the bars? And where d´you get them????
you bike´s how the 630 SHOULD look ...!

They were an ebay job tbh! not brilliant either, took a bit of modification and the colour doesnt match that well

regarding the sprocket cover, i wear mx boots, and i took it off for easy access for cleaning and chain lube, and looks of course, but mainly for loss of weight! :D
