  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

Can you say..."I swear officer, it was on there before I went on that rocky trail this morning!" :o

Video below the endurance that drove last, unfortunately, will not help me-510, after passing through the clay husq deleted and not picked up more, I had to abandon. I was nervous about the te510 and disappointed. The next best I have to seal injection parts.:cool::banghead:

The pipe burnt the foam heat shield on the bag, but after it melted the first time it never did again, still working on the no burn.

The bags are Nelson Riggs sport bike saddles and matching tail, picked them up from Dennis Kirk in 2006 for my GSXR for $35 each on clearance, so I have got my money's worth. I think they are cortech now.

By the way the iPhone is an old one, I keep them when I upgrade cause they make decent disposable cameras then.

First warm(ish) day of the year last weekend, so off to my in-law's property to ride my 2011 TE250. My form's going to need work because I'm brand new at this 'dirt riding', but this little bike sure packs a wallop.

Love the pic, but hate the size of the number plate on the TE250.
What were they thinking !

I know, should see the size of the car ones! Must add abt. 5 lb to the vehicles weight. It is a bit more custom fitted since I've done a few more rides. Scared to come off the back in case it slices my leg open!
