• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Welcome 211racing.

This is the 'hello' thread, it would probably be best if you started a new thread in the 4st forum here

When explaining your situation try to be as complete as possible so people have the very best chance of helping you. California is large, you also may want to indicate what region you are from because someone might be able to help in person or suggest a specific dealer.

Many people on this forum are not English speaking, so if you type your questions/situation carefully so the google language translator can be used - then they can help too. :)

Hello to all at cafe husky,
After a goos few months of rading i dicided to join in on all teh fun.
In the past i have owned 2 TE 510's but my age and lack off talent made me purchase a leftover 09 450TE .
Should have done this way earlier ....
I live in holland (europe)and do mostly enduro style racing and some low level motocross riding.

I ve been riding Mcycles for more tham 25 years from old guzzi's and bevel ducs to racing gsxR750's but NEVER had more fun than on my husky's

SMR510 side step.

Hi, bought an SMR510 here in the bleak of the UK winter. Got off of sportsbikes and fancied something a bit more everyday and FUN to ride. Love the bike. The UK winter salt has wrecked fixings and the spokes - UK road salt eats galv - but otherwise pretty happy. Mods are only power up kit, yet to fit pipes, Leo Vince prob. Had seat re-foamed. Probs with getting a decent set up on rear shock. 6'2", 210lbs, standard set up rear, sag set, was eating centre of tyre, backed out high speed damping and better. Tank range sucks. Fun factor awesome. Underrated and little known bike in the U of K.

This my first post, and soon, my first Husqvarna TE-510 will be sitting in my garage. What do I need to look for in evaluating the condition of a used carburetored 510?

New member Dano

I have a 1996 610 WXC that I have plated! Its nice to be able to ride from the trailhead and down the street. My only other husky was a 1972 400 CR
I live and ride in Seattle, WA and am looking forward to getting to know the members.

Just picked up a TE610 this weekend. Really interested in decking it out for adventure riding in and around Utah.
