• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi Guys,

Name is Bryan, from the state of Tasmania in Australia. 30 years old and been riding since I was 13. I have had a few Husky’s over the last few years. 05 TE510, 06, TE510, 07 TE510, 07 TE250, 08 TE450ie, 09 TE310ie and now have a 2010 TE250ie. I have also owned a dirt bike and road bike from all of the other manufacturers over the years. Looking to have a Husky SM510R in the stable soon. I do a bit of trail riding and also race our local enduro series here. www.merc.org.au . I am the sales manager for Motorworks Motorcycles here in Hobart www.motorworks.com.au

Well that’s about it from me apart from a pic of the current TE.

Hello, new Husky owner. Spent many years on KTM, now switching over to Husky after finding a very nice 08 TE450. Plan on using it for fun rides, CO riding and light d/s. Really wanting to see how the bike and I get along as I am seriously considering the Husky small bore or 310 for next year.

Anyhow, I am in the KC area. I have raced enduro/off road for quite a few years now.

Some of us may have known each other from KTMTalk, I spend quite a bit of time over there

Awesome. Can't wait!

Just went down to local yamahauppy dealer in Squamish B.C. Canada. To find out that they are the first Husky dealer I've seen around my parts and was awestruck by the wr125 sitting in front of me BECKONING me to rid myself of my sweet overpowering '06 YZ250 offroad enhanced two smoky. I have to say I like what I see. I am 44 and am tired of the suprises my bike has held for me in the past (injuries brought on by these suprises) and am also not a follower so, needless to say, I am not interested in orange! If anyone feels free to give me "any" info on there sweet one two five, I am all ears. (likes, dislikes etc.)

Thanks, you will be my desicion makers!

Hello!

Hello! My name is Josh. I am from West Central Wisconsin. I am 20 years old and just got my first bike! I found it over on SMJ. It is a 2007 SM610. It has 2300 miles on it. What a blast! I put a little over three hundred miles on this weekend. I can't get enough.

Looking Forward to the tech info and personal insight...

Hi everyone...

Right now he's running an RM 105 Super Mini, but I just purchased a

Looking forward to the help with the build...

Fuel, riding gear, time to go riding :)

And I like little things such as barkbusters and pivot pegz.

Hey All - I'm Brian and I just picked up an 08 TE250 a week ago. Looking forward to getting it dirty. I'm a novice rider, but I ride street and have ridden dirt off and on.

Lot's of WA folks on here and some of you gave me advice over on TT when I was trying to decide between a 250 or a 310. Ultimately the budget made the decision for me and a used 250 is now in my garage.

Hi Coffee,
I am returning to Twinshock racing at the ripe old age of 47. Raced Classic scramble on Sunday for the first time since 1982 [ I race a modern KTM in Hare and Hounds regularly so no novice]. I have a 1983 CR500 last bloke sold it as un rideable but way out of adjustment. I am looking for some tips on jetting a 38mm Mikuni to replace the 40mm for improved sanity!

hey all, just picked up a 2008 SM610.First street bike (have had many dirt bikes and quads) and lovin it. Let the mods begin!

John in Austin, TX.

Hello everyone,

Nice forum with what seems to be a really nice group of people. My name is John and I live in Austin, TX. I've ridden motorcycles since I was around 12 yrs old and I'm pretty damn old now so I've ridden for a while. Raced motocross for quite a few years and now poking around on an Aprilia Dorsoduro, love the bike too! But, I'm a fan of Husqvarna stuff and have a serious itch for a new Husky so here I am!!
