• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi Coffee,

I currently have a WR250R that I may replace with a TE630. Test rode one a week ago and was really impressed.

Great site!

Hi All

In about two weeks I'll be a Husqvarna Dealership Owner, just waiting for the floor plan money to come through :banghead:. It's been 4 months waiting and it's killing me. Though it's not a Husky problem it's the painfully slow GE money that can't get their act together.

So in my time waiting and suffing the web I found you guys and gals. Hope to learn something and maybe help out where I can.

New to Husky

I've owned a ton of bikes...most recently several KTMs - last was a 990 Adventure, 640 ADV, etc. Great bikes - 990 was a hoot.
But did research on the TE610 and cant figure why I didnt discover this bad boy before. Just inked a deal and pick up a 2009 TE 610 Sunday - cant wait********************************************************************************

Am having some issues finding some accessories - for starters, want to get a billet rack - ProMoto only shows up to 07's or 08's.
Any how - look forward to visiting this forum often.

Hi all,
Greg here in central Arizona. I just picked up a Husky - I believe it's a 390cr, 1980. Was told it hadn't been started in two years, but a friend and my brother drained the carb and got it to start. It's kinda rough and from the looking that I've been doing on the net seems to indicate that getting it back into good shape is going to be trying at best. Wish me luck and if anyone knows a good source of NOS parts - I'd love to hear about it! Thanks...

New guy....

Hello all !......Well, I finally did it !! I've been a lurker for some time now and been considering buying a late model wr250 (lifelong 2 st. fan). I've been riding for 40 years now and have yet to own a Husky, I've known a lot of people that are loyal to them ( I used to ride with a guy named Vern......Yeah his nick name was husky vern !). A few weeks ago I pulled the trigger on an 09' wr250 from Schulz cycle in Morgan Pa. (GREAT dealer !!), I only have about 6hrs or so on the bike as of right now but can honestly say it's quite possibly the best woods bike I've ridden, I ride mostly tight rocky single track and the Husky just breezes through it almost effortlessly ! Fantastic motor that pulls from 2 rpm and coming off a 07' Ktm 200xc (I still have it) it's nice to have suspension that's actually in the ballpark right off the showroom floor ! Looking forward to getting to know my new ride and working out the very few bugs !!
