introduction
Hey guys, nice site. Been lurking for a couple weeks now, mainly in the vintage forum.
This is why I joined - to get some tips on my little project. It's a 1972 Husky 450WR that I got off my boss about ten years ago, finally getting around to fixing it. He bought it new in 72, rode it a handful of times, then crashed and broke his collarbone ending his riding career. It's still got the original Trelleborg tires and is in great shape, but the carb is too far gone - should be the only thing that needs replacing. Luckily he took the stock alum fenders off when it was brand new - have them in perfect condition as well as the stock side number plates.
