As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Glad to see you found us here. You'll like the vintage forum here, Jim.
Lots of Husky knowledge here. Throw up a photo of your AHRMA vintage racer in the "photos of your bike" thread, will ya?
Have fun on your ride (everyone always does) and welcome to CafeHusky

Welcome to CafeHusky
Nothin' finer than getting a bike still in the crate, is there? We've gotten a few GasGases still in the crate and it's pretty cool.
Congrats on the new Husky

Got it muddy for the first time today riding around my house and nearby railroad bed. I have been trail riding and racing ECEA enduros as a B rider with below average talent for the past 20 years (11/87 first enduro - last place finisher at Stumpjumper). I sold 2 WR 250fs (one street legal) in anticipation of buying this 310. It is a work of art, almost afraid to ride it. I am also a below average mechanic and I am the master of the self induced problem. Be patient with me, you will usually find humor in my humble stupidity. Looking forward to joining the Husky tribe!!!

I have not seen you in ages.
When is your next utah trip happening? I should get myself back out there soon.
I did the hole-n-the-rock trail on the other side last year. The side we did years ago is much more technical.
I've gotten a KTM in the crate as well and it is the best way. feels like xmas as a kid.
take care!!!

Had a KLR650 as mainly a commuter that I did some DS rides on and had a blast. No longer need to commute on the bike, so sold it, and now looking for something more dirt-oriented.
Also an AFM road racer (SV650), Harley rider, and all around enthusiast for all things two-wheeled. Look forward to seeing some of you on the trails.

I warmed it up - and it sounds nice. I just sold my KTM XCF to buy this bike.....
I have been through the forums trying to learn as much as possible. I'm sure I'll have questions.
I already started to melt the airbox - I thought that issue was only with TE models because of the cat pipe - but my XC has done it too. Looking forward to finding out what this bike can do. I ride mostly trails - and some desert stuff. Haven't done any enduros - but will probably start this season district 37
Had a question if these are green or red stickers in Cali? Mine didn't come with the spark insert - or manuals - I'm waiting for the paperwork from the owner (previous owner was from Colorado and it had 4 hours on it) like new- price was right..so had to jump on it.
