• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

ive been using dunlop 952's for my races and wondering where do you buy the moto oz tyres from

Hello, husky 450! Welcome to CafeHusky

I don't know where to buy Motoz tires in Australia, but here in the states we get them from Kelly at Motosportz. We have lots of Australian members, though, so maybe one of them can help you.
Try posting this question in as a new thread in the main forum and you'll probably get an answer

Good luck!

Hey Guys!
Glad to be here, very nice forum. I have been a lurker for a little while and decided to say hello. Just picked up an 08 te450 two weeks ago. Traded in an 05 GG ec250 for it. Seems like a nice bike and has a ton more power than the Gasser. Been riding since I was a little guy, started on a Honda ct70 in Grand Junction, CO, now I live in Loveland. I have always loved Husky's and now it's nice to see them making a come back. Nice to meet everyone!

Welcome to CafeHusky, Wellsy, and congrats on the new TE450

We've got a few GG's in our garage (DE300 and an ECO250 w/full Ohlin's suspension) but they won't be traded for love nor money anytime soon :D Glad you're liking the TE

Glad to see famliar screen names

Hey guys my name is Gil Singleton I'm one of two Husky owners in Mobile, Al. No shops no support around here so all you internet guys have been a great help.I've got a 04 TC 450 wouldn't trade it for a 09 these 04's are serious woods weapons in the deep south. I have replaced main berings, rings, and gaskets thanks to George Earl, but now I have purchased a 06 TE head I need advice from anyone that has gone this far to keep thier 04 running.

Hey everybody!
New to Husky and this Forum. Just got an 09 TE310 last week,so far I really like it. Now if I can get this snow to go away I will get some riding in. Is it normal for this bike to pop on deceleration?

Husky Newbie, but stoked

Hey guys, cool to see a Husky site, I'll be interested in reading some of the tech tips and other "Husky suggestions" from all you cats. Just ordered/paid for a new '09 TE-510 but my hands aren't wrapped around the grips quite yet. Could be another week or so till that happens...

Coming off an '04 DRZ-400 which I put over 20,000 kms on, much of it off road. Many big back country trips here in South-Western BC, and one kick-ass 4500 km trip down the Baja last spring.

Been dreaming about updating my moto for the past 6-8 months, and thought it may be the new BMW 450X till I actually saw one in real life -it had a few big drawbacks (mostly oil-filter service intervals of 10 hours, small fuel tank and no rear subframe for rack etc) but started to get more and more stoked on Husky's the more I found out about them.

ANYWAY, stoked to get one under me soon. I'll letcha know

Till then, cheers Bykwiz Brrrraaaaaaaaaaappppppppppppp!

Welcome aboard, I am looking at the 610SM. There is someone on here that has one I was really digging the looks of when converted with dirt tires. :busted: :notworthy::doh: However, I have a dirty bike TE450 so the 610 will stay dressed as a SM. :D

Hi, snotaz! Welcome to CafeHusky

Don't listen to that crazy Palmer84One guy:D I've got 3 dirtbikes in my garage but that didn't stop me from throwing a set of knobs on my SM610:busted:

Seriously, though, it's hard to find a machine that's more fun than a rippin' supermoto:thumbsup: Good luck in your search for an SM450R.

I would like to introduce myself. I live near Seattle. I have been a rabid Husky rider since 1981. I usually ride a 99 Husky TE410 but I have numerous older 2-stroke Huskys that I need to finish restoring. Like to connect to other Husqvarna enthusiasts near the Seattle area.
