EDIT: yup. posted.
Just looked on FB and dont see it.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

MV Agusta/Cagiva doesn't always get it right.....
New 800 Touring bike.
This....In the end I think they want it to be fugly, look how much we are talking about it. Had they shown what you did here we all would have been like Meh, looks nice but is just a 690 and been done talking about it. I don't pretend to understand what might have happened for them to release that on the show but it must be something like this or they are all blind.
This.
It is called marketing.
I agree it is marketing....and also a turn off that removes the bike from any further consideration, sorry.
Like I said earlier, I believe the point to that bike is to lower expectations so almost anything they want to bring to market will be greeted with positive feelings e.g. "at least we did not get that ugly bike!"I guess what I am saying is future versions will seem like lipstick on a pig.

Definitely looks better in red/silver and black frame, but to my eye.... something is off in the proportions. It looks too squished together or something.Norm - I just love the look of this bike, but I admit that it looks much better in the red & silver MV racing colours which harks back to the old Ducati powered Cagiva Navigator. If it handles and rides anywhere near as good as my current Suzi V1000 powered Cagiva Navigator then I am up for this bike. Husky were working on a touring version of the Nuda before they got shafted by BMW/KTM, I would have like to have seen this bike and think they would have sold well, its a shame it never got to see the light of day. It looks like MV have woken up to the huge touring/adventure market. Good on them and I hope they steal more BMW, Ducati & KTM sales. This bike might actually prise me off my old Navi.

I have been afflicted with 4 stroke fever since the '80's. The Husqvarna 510's (I only ever saw in magazines back then) were a big part of my infection. I have accepted my condition and have given in to the fact that there is no cure for me. I can admit though that I was excited to see this bike and really hoped it would become a reality. Here is hoping we may still see it, albeit in the new back to the future white blue and yellow colors.![]()
