    that we will. (thanks)

My investigative work tells me the Lectron is very much the same idea and metering rod setup as a APT (maybe APT moved that tech forward maybe not) but adds what is essentially a dial-a-jet which they call a "power jet" which adds top end tuning to the APT and might just one up it. If it runs anything like the APT I will be impressed. then I will be puzzled why this Lectron carb did not take off like the APT seems to be doing. APT might just sell a lot of Lectrons :>) We will see shortly. Testing this weekend. Brand new throttle cable installed last night, ready to go. Round 2.

I read somewhere that on the WR250-300 you can use a 08 and older air filter housing/boot and gain some clearance for a better fit. Can anyone confirm this? It would add cost but at least it would solve a boot rubbing on the shock or a possible leaking seal.

The rubber boot doesn't rub on the Eibach spring I got from you with the APT installed. Non issue for a 2012 CR125.

I don't see how you could improve on the top end tuning of the APT with what I've experienced, and what you've described on your 144 & 165 trials. Maybe in other displacements or engine configuration designs. Will you shoot a picture of the cable retaining set up in the slide? Thanks john01, Vinduro & Motosportz for your contributions to the real world comparisons!

I had two 2002 WR250's and a 2002 WR360 that I put new PWK38AirStrykers on. On each bike the float bowl would hit the case. I'd love to try a SmartCarb on a 360!

after failed of obtaining an airstriker beginning this year i might have save the money for a better product (could be a devine intervention of the dirt bike god)

for sure the APT cast version is in my budget range but to be honest the lectron also looks like a verry good deal to me.

I will wait till i see some more ttest result befor i bite the bullet but the thing where I am strugelingwith with my carb setting is temparature change/humidity change that can varry quite a lot and the the carb is running OK in the morning and is quite off (changing main jets and needle positions in the afternoon (not the nicest thing to do on a ride))

so far the temparature change is not realy tested or discribet can some atention be given to this specific parameter please.

    Thanks

Robert-Jan the SmartCarb on my bike (08 CRWB165) was first set and tested in the rain and a on a cold 41* afternoon. My next test later in the week was on a nice sunny 77* day. Once I set it I didn't change anything.

Tried the stock carb out a little yesterday for comparison. I rejetted the stock TMX and it is running very good. Crisp, no flat spots or rich spots, runs as good as I think it can stock. Stock -v- APT there is for sure less throttle response, less roll on power, less bottom end. Does not run as smooth and idle sounds different. The bike ran real good and was fun but i did miss the APT and the amazing throttle response and low end pull.

    - Hey Vinduro when is that Lectron supposed to be here :D

As long as they're going to have a 36mm cast model, I'm happy. Otherwise, I'll still be happy, but my wallet won't be..... :D
